Creator or All Life

Father and maker of all, You adorn all creation with      splendor and beauty, and fashion human lives in Your image and likeness. Awaken in every heart reverence for the work of Your hands, and renew among Your people a readiness to nurture and sustain Your precious gift of life. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever.    Amen

Abortuary's Spiritual Adoption
- by Father Frank Pavone

Father, all life is in Your care. You have entrusted us to one another, that we may show our brothers and sisters the same love You have for us. We pray, then, for the least among us, the children in the womb. Protect them from the violence of abortion. We pray for those that are scheduled to die at [fill in name of abortuary] Save them from death. Give new hope to their parents, that they may turn away from the desperate act of abortion. Grant conversion to the abortionist and to the staff. Show us how we are to respond to the bloodshed in our midst. And, lead us to the day when this place of death will be transformed into a haven of life. Guard us with your joy and your peace, for in You, life is victorious. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Abortionists and Their Staffs
- by Jean M. Heimann

Lord, we lift up to you all abortionists and their staffs, including all technicians, nurses, receptionists, counselors, chaplains, and all who are employed or voluntarily assisting with the killing of the unborn in any way.  We place each one of them in the innermost recessess of Your Sacred Heart -- Your Heart of Mercy, compassion and love for all Your children. We pray that they will accept the supernatural graces that You give them this day to renounce the horrific killing of Your children; the psychological, physical, and spiritual harm they are doing to the women through their actions; and the tremendous spiritual, physical and psychological harm they are doing to themselves. Give them an abundance of courage and strength to say "no" to murder and to escape the culture of death and the constant torment and resentment that they experience in their lives. As they approach You, encourage them to draw nearer, remove the veil that covers their eyes and blinds them to the truth.  Pour out Your tender, loving mercy upon them that they will  see the truth, the reality, and the consequences of their actions.  Draw them into the light of Your love and penetrate their souls with the light of truth, the light of Your knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. We pray this in the holy name of Jesus, through the intercession of our Blessed Virgin Mary. For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on them and on the whole world.

St. Gianna Beretta Molla, pray for them.
Blessed Anna Maria Taige, pray for them.

Pope John Paul, the Great, pray for them.

At Abortuary
-  Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades

We mourn the death of these children who were denied the right to life. Lord, look upon their mothers and fathers with mercy; and lead them to blessed forgiveness, we pray.

A Prayer to Matt Talbott for the Addicted

May Venerable Matt Talbot's triumph over addiction,
bring hope to our lives and strength to our hearts.
May he intercede for all who struggle with addiction.
We ask this in the name of Jesus the Christ,
our Great Healer.  Amen.

A Birth-Mother's Prayer
- by Sr. Juliemarie McDonald, SND

Blessed are those who choose life for they shall experience the radiance of eternal life.  Lord, I have chosen life, but my heart is saddened.  My child is cuddled in another mother's arms.  Mother Mary bless the adopted parents, who could not give life. I know my child is safe and loved.  Comfort my aching heart.  Turn my morning into joy.  Amen.

 Prayer for the Chronically Ill
- from Catholic Doors Ministry

Loving God, Rock of strength for those who trust in You; Comforter of those who call on you. Hear the cry of those who suffer from constant sickness or weakness, and embrace them in Your loving arms. As You have united them to the suffering of Christ in the waters of baptism, be their companion on the way of the cross, give them peace, and strengthen them with the vision of your kingdom. We make this prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Prayer For Protection Of Conscience Rights In Health Care

Father, in Jesus our Lord, we praise and thank you for your most precious gift of human life and for forming us in your divine image. Keep us, the dwelling place of your most Holy Spirit, ever healthy in body and soul. Jesus, Divine Healer, pour your grace upon all those afflicted with illness or disease. Protect from all harm those who are vulnerable due to sickness, suffering, frailty, poverty or age, whether elderly or unborn. Holy Spirit, touch the hearts of all who serve human life in medicine and science, so they will protect the dignity of each person, from conception to natural death, and remain faithful advocates of all entrusted to their care. Grant those who are called to serve as health care providers renewed conviction in their ministry, and increased wisdom to treat the whole person, and not merely the illness. Protect the right of health care providers to serve their patients without being forced to violate their moral and religious convictions. Guard them against discrimination, that they might be free to follow you faithfully while fulfilling their professional duties. Grant our lawmakers the wisdom and courage to uphold conscience rights for those called to the ministry of healing, and help them resist the pressure to become collaborators in the culture of death. Give us strength to be bold and joyful witnesses to the truth that every human life is sacred. In your goodness, guard our freedom to live out our faith and to follow you in all that we do. Father, we ask this in Jesus’ name, through the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Prayer to Abolish the Death Penalty
- by Helen Prejean, CSJ

God of Compassion, You let your rain fall on the just and the unjust. Expand and deepen our hearts so that we love as You love, even those among us who have caused the greatest pain by taking life. For there is in our land a cry for vengeance as we fill up death rows and kill the killers in the name of justice, in the name of peace. You suffered execution at the hands of the state but you did not let hatred overcome you. Help us to reach out to victims of violence so that Your enduring love may help them heal. Holy Spirit of God, You strengthen us in the struggle for justice. Help us work tirelessly for the abolition of state-sanctioned death and to renew our society in its very heart so that violence will be no more. Amen.

Prayer for the Disabled

God of Compassion, in Jesus Christ You cared for those who were blind and deaf, crippled or slow to learn.  Though all of us need help, give special care to those who are disabled, particularly (mention names here). By our concern may they know the love You have for them, and come to trust in You, through Jesus Christ Who came to heal.  Amen.

Domestic Violence Prayer
- BeliefNet

God of peace, there are many places and many people who do not experience your peace. Right now there are many, many women and children who live under the dark weight of the fear of violence right in their own homes. We pray for your protection, and for wisdom for friends and officials to help bring that right protection to them. We pray for the many men who themselves feel powerless and confused about their relationships. We ask that you would help them find healthy ways to work out their frustrations and to find hope without resorting to destructive impulses. God, work in our country to stem this epidemic. We ask for your perfect peace. Amen.

Prayer for the Dying

May Christ Who was crucified for your sake free you from excruciating pain. May Christ Who died for you free you from the death that never ends. May Christ the Son of the living God, set you in the ever green loveliness of His Paradise, and may He, the true Shepherd recognize you as one of His own. May you see your Redeemer face to face and standing in His presence forever, may you see with joyful eyes Truth revealed in all its fullness. Amen.

For the Elderly

All-powerful and living God, in whom we live and move and have our being, we thank you and praise you for giving (mention names here).  long years, lived in faith and in doing good. Grant that they may have the loving support of their relatives and friends, that in good health they may be cheerful, and in poor health not lose hope. Sustained by the help of your blessing, let them spend their old age giving praise to your name. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Of the Elderly

Dear Lord, as my life declines and my energies decrease, more than ever hold me by Your Power, that I may not offend You, but daily increase in Your Love. Give me strength to work in Your Service until the last day of my life. Help me to ever have an increasing dread of venial sin, or whatever would cause the slightest withdrawal of Your love, all day long, and at night keep me close to Your Heart; and should I die, ere the morning breaks, may I go rejoicing in that vision of Your entrancing beauty, never to be separated from You. Amen.

A Family Prayer
- by Archbishop William E. Lori

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of our family. Enlighten our hearts and minds that we may live more fully this vocation to love. In our daily life and work, may we reflect the self-giving love which You, O Father, eternally show with Your Son and the Holy Spirit. Let Your love be evident in the peace that reigns in our home and in the faith we profess and live. May our family always be a place of generosity, understanding, forgiveness, and joy. Kindly give us the wisdom and courage to be witnesses to Your eternal design for the family; and grant that the Holy Family of Nazareth may always guide our path to holiness as a family. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer to God Father of All Life
- from Priests for Life

Eternal God, You have revealed Yourself as the Father of all Life.  We praise You for the Fatherly care which You extend to all creation, and especially to us, made in Your image and likeness. Father, extend Your hand of protection to those threatened by abortion, and save them from its destructive power. Give Your strength to all fathers, that they may never give in to the fears that may tempt them to facilitate abortion. Bless our families and bless our land, that we may have the joy of welcoming and nurturing the life of which You are the Source and the Eternal Father.  Amen.

A Healing Prayer

O Jesus, Good Shepherd, You heal the sick and needy. I give you all those parts of my body which have suffered from illness. You know what it is like to endure pain. Look kindly on me today and heal me. Restore me to strength of soul and body. Give Your gift of wisdom to my physician that he may be guided by the Holy Spirit in all he does. Bless my nurses so that their hands will become Your hands as they touch me. Bless, too, my medication. O Jesus, grant us all Your healing grace of love and peace. Amen.

Prayer for Healing Post-Abortion
- by Rev. James Moroney

Eternal Father, Source of all mercy and love, out of love for us You sent Your Son, and willed that blood and water flow from His side to cleanse us of sin and to restore lost innocence. Hear the cry of each woman who mourns the loss of her child to abortion.  Forgive her sin, restore her to grace, and still the terror of her heart with peace beyond all understanding.  Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of all tenderness and our Mother, strengthen her faith in You.  Give her the consolation to believe that her child is now living in the Lord.  We ask this through Christ our Lord, Who conquered sin and death, and Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.  Amen.

Prayer for our Nation's Health Care Reform
- by Fr. Frank Pavone

Lord Jesus, you are the Divine Physician, and the source of all life and health. Guide our nation at this critical moment, as our government seeks health care reforms. Give our elected officials the humility to know that they are servants, not masters. Give them the wisdom to realize that every life has equal value. Give them the strength to resist the idea that some lives can be sacrificed to save others or that killing the unborn is a part of health care. Give your people the courage to speak up and to hold public officials accountable for their actions. Save us, Lord Jesus, from a culture of death, and let every reform in our public policy be based on the reform of our hearts and mind in the light of your Gospel, for you are Lord forever and ever. Amen.

Marian Consecration Prayer
-  of St. Maximilian Kolbe

O Immaculata, Queen of Heaven and earth, refuge of sinners and our most loving Mother, God has willed to entrust the entire order of mercy to you. I, (name), a repentant sinner, cast myself at your feet humbly imploring you to take me with all that I am and have, wholly to yourself as your possession and property. Please make of me, of all my powers of soul and body, of my whole life, death and eternity, whatever most pleases you. If it pleases you, use all that I am and have without reserve, wholly to accomplish what was said of you: “She will crush your head,” and, “You alone have destroyed all heresies in the whole world.” Let me be a fit instrument in your immaculate and merciful hands for introducing and increasing your glory to the maximum in all the many strayed and indifferent souls, and thus help extend as far as possible the blessed kingdom of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus. For wherever you enter you obtain the grace of conversion and growth in holiness, since it is through your hands that all graces come to us from the most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

V. Allow me to praise you, O Sacred Virgin.
R. Give me strength against your enemies.

A Pro-Life Prayer For Our President And Public Officials
- from EWTN

Lord God, Author of Life and Source of Eternal Life, move the hearts of all our public officials and especially our President, to fulfill their responsibilities worthily and well to all those entrusted to their care. Help them in their special leadership roles, to extend the mantle of protection to the most vulnerable, especially the defenseless unborn, whose lives are threatened with extermination by an indifferent society. Guide all public officials by your wisdom and grace to cease supporting any law that fails to protect the fundamental good that is human life itself, which is a gift from God and parents. You are the Protector and Defender of the lives of the innocent unborn. Change the hearts of those who compromise the call to protect and defend life. Bring our nation to the values that have made us a great nation, a society that upholds the values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all. Mary, the Mother of the living, help us to bear witness to the Gospel of Life with our lives and our laws, through Christ, Our Lord.   Amen.

Prayer of Blessed Pope John Paul II for Life - Encyclical Letter "The Gospel of Life" Given in Rome, on March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, in the year 1995.

O Mary, bright dawn of the new world, Mother of the living, to you do we entrust the cause of life: Look down, O Mother, upon the vast numbers of babies to be born, of the poor whose lives are made difficult, of men and women who are victims of brutal violence, of the elderly and the sick killed by indifference or out of misguided mercy. Grant that all who believe in your Son may proclaim the Gospel of life with honesty and love to the people of our time. Obtain for them the grace to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new, the joy of celebrating it with gratitude throughout their lives and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely, in order to build, together with all people of good will, the civilization of truth and love, to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and Lover of life.  Amen.

Prayer for Persecuted Christians

Father in Heaven, You make Your sun shine on good and bad alike. Your Son, Jesus Christ, died for us all and in His glorious resurrection He still retains the five wounds of His Passion. With His divine power He now sustains all those who suffer persecution and martyrdom for the sake of their fidelity to the faith of the Church. Merciful and mighty Father, do not allow Cain to return again to murder helpless Abel, innocent Abel. May persecuted Christians around the world remain, like Mary, their Mother, together at the foot of the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ the Most Holy Martyr. Comfort those menaced by violence and those oppressed by uncertainty. May Your Holy Spirit of love make  fruitful the witness and the blood of those who die forgiving. Amen.

Prayer for Prisoners

Lord, you offer freedom to all people. We pray for all who are incarcerated and for those who are affected by or involved in their imprisonment. Break the bonds of fear and isolation that exist. Support with your love, prisoners, their families, friends, prison staff and all who care. Heal those who have been wounded by the activities of others, especially the victims of crime. Help us to forgive one another, to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly together with Christ, in his strength and his spirit, now and every day. Amen.

Prayer of Repentance for Having Destroyed Life
- by Joseph of Jesus and Mary, The Work of God Apostolate

Heavenly Father, Almighty God. I humble myself before your Presence. Father of life, Father of all spirits. I have sinned against you, I have broken your commandment that says "You shall not kill." I repent of my crime, I admit my guilt and I ask you to forgive me. You have said an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and a life for a life [Leviticus 24:17-21]; if you look at my iniquities I will be lost forever, but with you is found mercy and love [Psalm 130:2-3]. Lord have mercy on me, a sinner. Lord you have appointed repentance for the forgiveness of sins , you have given power to your Church to forgive sins. I promise to confess my sins to a Catholic priest and I beg you to heal the wounds of my soul. Heal me O Lord, purify me from all my iniquities. Precious Blood of Jesus cover me, I have shed human blood, I have destroyed life and you are life, now I beg you Lord by the power of your Precious Blood that you forgive me and deliver me from my iniquities. Blessed Mother Mary, Virgin mother of all the living, mother of life, I am your child, forgive me my sins and pray for me, take me into the refuge of your Immaculate Heart and help me to live God's commandments. Mother Mary you are the mother of that human being that I rejected, I entrust it to you and to your Son my Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for us O Holy Mother of God that we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.  Amen.

Rosary for the Unborn - The Joyful Mysteries

1st-The Annunciation.  As Mary accepted with faith her unexpected pregnancy and trusted God to work things out, may all women today accept the life within them and trust God to help them work through their problems.

2nd-The Visitation.  John the Baptist leapt for joy in his mother's womb. We pray that people may realize that abortion is not about children who "might" come into the world, but is about children who are already in the world, living and growing in the womb, and are scheduled to be killed.

3rd-The Nativity.  God Himself was born as a child. The greatness of a person does not depend on size, for the newborn King is very small. Let us pray for an end to prejudice against the tiny babies threatened by abortion. King Herod sought the death of Jesus; we pray that governments will respect and recognize the humanity of the unborn.

4th-The Presentation.  The Child Jesus is presented in the Temple because He belongs to God. Children are not the property of their parents or of the government. They-and we-belong to God.

5th-The Finding of Jesus in the Temple. The Boy Jesus was filled with wisdom, because He is God. Let us pray that all people may see the wisdom of His teachings about the dignity of life, and may understand that this teaching is not an opinion, but the Truth
.

Rosary for the Unborn - Luminous Mysteries

1st-The Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan. The Holy One makes holy the waters of baptism. Through these waters, God imparts His grace to babies and small children. Help us adults to be mindful of our baptismal promises to profess the faith and to reject sin and Satan, who is behind the abortion industry.

2nd-The Wedding at Cana.  Jesus was sent by His Father to rescue a fallen world. To help bring about the new creation, He made marriage into a sacrament. Most of the mothers whose children are aborted are not married to the fathers. Help us to promoter the dignity of the marriage bond by teaching our young people to avoid the contraceptive mentality and to practice perfectcontinenceuntil marriage.

3rd-The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God.   "Repent & believe the Good News." Let us pray that these first words of Jesus' public ministry may be heard by all who have committed abortion. May they know that the Lord calls them to conversion, & may they experience life-giving repentance.Dear Holy Spirit, give hope to the many who have been victimized by the culture of death.

4th-The Transfiguration.  Christ is transformed on the mountain, and the disciples see His glory. May the eyes of all people be transformed, that they may see each and every human life as a reflection of the glory of God Himself.

5th-The Institution of the Eucharist.  "This is My Body, given up for you." The Eucharist teaches us how to live and how to love. Let us pray that parents who sacrifice the babies for the sake of themselves may learn instead to put themselves aside for the sake of their babies. May Christ our High Priest, take our pro-life intentions to our Father who always hears His Son.

Rosary for the Unborn - Sorrowful Mysteries

1st-The Agony in the Garden.  Let us pray for mothers and fathers who are in agony because they are tempted to abort a child.  May they be given the good news that there are alternatives, and may they make use of the help that is available. May they have the courage to say “Thy will be done.” and choose life.

2nd-The Scourging at the Pillar.  As Christ's flesh was torn by the instruments of those who scourged Him, so the bodies of babies in the womb are torn by the instruments of the abortionists. Let us pray that abortionists may repent of these acts of child-killing. And may the merits of Christ’s suffering bring an end to legalized abortion.

3rd-The Crowning with Thorns.  As Christ was crowned with thorns, he suffered great humiliation. May we never be afraid of human opinion, pain or humiliation in our pro-life apostolate. We pray for the mothers and fathers of aborted children. So many of them suffer deep grief and regret over a choice they can never reverse.

4th-The Carrying of the Cross.  Jesus was not condemned by the power of wicked people. He was condemned by the silence of good people. Silence always helps the oppressor, never the victim. Let us pray that we may never be silent about abortion, but rather will clearly speak up to save babies from death. And may we never rest until we have given of ourselves completely.

5th-The Crucifixion.  As we ponder His death, let us remember the many women who have died from so-called safe, legal abortions. Let us ask forgiveness and mercy for them. May their memory save other women from making this tragic mistake.

Rosary for the Unborn - The Glorious Mysteries

1st-The Resurrection.      Christ is Risen! By His Resurrection, He has destroyed the power of death, and therefore the power of abortion.  The outcome of the battle for Life has already been decided: Life is victorious! Let us pray that all pro-lifers will spread this victory to every segment of society.

2nd-The Ascension.   By ascending to the Father’s throne, Christ takes our human nature, given us in the womb, to the heights of heaven. He shows us that human beings are made to be raised to heaven, not thrown in the garbage. Jesus told us, “You will be My witnesses…even to the ends of the earth.” So many who are considering abortion are at the ends of the earth – unloved and unloving, hurt, scared, poor, near despair. Help us to lead them upward to you.

3rd-The Descent of the Holy Spirit.  Through the Holy Spirit You live within us. We are your apostles for life. May the Holy Spirit guide us as we pray for the unborn, their mothers and fathers, and to soften the hearts of abortionist and their supporters.

4th-The Assumption.  The Blessed Virgin Mary was taken body and soul into heaven because she is the Mother of God. Mother and child are united. The Assumption reminds us that they belong together. We pray that society will see that they cannot love women while killing their children, and cannot save children without helping their mothers. We pray that people will be touched by the pro-life question, “Why can’t we love them both?”

5th-The Coronation.  Mary is Queen of Heaven and Earth. The Church teaches that she is the greatest creature, second only to God Himself. The Church defends the dignity of women. We pray that people will understand that to be pro-life means to be pro-woman, and that to be pro-woman demands that we be pro-life. Mary, beg for us the graces always to have a mother’s love for all those seeking to abort their children, that they may come to know your Son, Jesus.

For the Sick

Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant,(mention name here), for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy, that, with his/her bodily health restored, he/she may give thanks to Thee in Thy church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer To St. Benedict

O glorious St. Benedict, sublime model of all virtues, pure vessel of God's grace! Behold me, humbly kneeling at thy feet. I implore thy loving heart to pray for me before the throne of God. To thee I have recourse in all the dangers which daily surround me. Shield me against my enemies, inspire me to imitate thee in all things. May thy blessing be with me always, so that I may shun whatever God forbids and avoid the occasions of sin. Graciously obtain for me from God those favors and graces of which I stand so much in need, in the trials, miseries and afflictions of life. Thy heart was always so full of love, compassion, and mercy towards those who were afflicted or troubled in any way. Thou didst never dismiss without consolation and assistance any one who had re-course to thee. I therefore invoke thy powerful intercession, in the confident hope that thou wilt hear my prayers and obtain for me the special grace and favor I so earnestly implore (mention it here), if it be for the greater glory of God and the welfare of my soul. Help me, O great St. Benedict, to live and die as a faithful child of God, to be ever submissive to His holy will, and to attain the eternal happiness of heaven. Amen.

Prayer to St. Gerard

St. Gerard, you worshiped Jesus as the Lord of Life. I ask you today to pray for my special intention (mention it here). Lift up to Jesus all those who seek to conceive a child, all those having difficult pregnancies, all who have suffered the loss of a child, and all who lovingly lift up their children to God. Pray that all of us, by caring for mothers, fathers, and children born and unborn. May we build a Culture of Life, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our  protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who wander about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Prayer If You Feel Suicidal

Lord, I come before You with a heavy heart. I feel so much and yet sometimes I feel nothing at all. I don't know where to turn, who to talk to, or how to deal with the things going on in my life. You see everything, Lord. You know everything, Lord. Yet when I seek You it is so hard to feel You here with me. Lord, help me through this. I don't see any other way to get out of this. There is no light at the end of my tunnel, yet everyone says You can show it to me. Lord, help me find that light. Let it be Your light. Give me someone to help. Let me feel You with me. Lord, let me see what You provide and see an alternative to taking my life. Let me feel Your blessings and comfort. Amen.

Prayer for a Suicidal Friend

Lord, I come before You with a heavy heart for my friend. He/She is struggling so much right now with the things happening in his/her life. I know You can be his/her greatest comfort. I know You can step in and make a difference. Show me how I can best help him/her. Give me the words and actions that will keep him/her from taking that ultimate step of suicide, Lord. Let him/her see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that suicide is not the route to take. Lord, let Your presence be felt in his/her life and let your comfort be what he/she needs. Amen.

Prayer for the Terminally Ill
- by Rev. Kenneth W. Collins

Lord, forgive them any sins that they may have committed.  If it is Your will, raise them up to a healthy body and a sound mind to serve the residue of their days in Your service and to Your glory.  If it is not Your will to heal them, then recognize them as a lamb of Your fold and a sheep of Your flock.  Send Your holy angels to protect them from all spiritual harm, to guide and direct them, to counsel and defend them.  Take them into the paradise that You have prepared for those who love You. Let them stand in the resurrection of the just on the Last Day and live with You in Your glory forever more.  Amen.

Prayer for the Unborn
- from EWTN

Heavenly Father, in Your love for us, protect against the wickedness of the devil, those helpless little ones to whom You have given the gift of life. Touch with pity the hearts of those women pregnant in our world today who are not thinking of motherhood.
Help them to see that the child they carry is made in Your image - as well as theirs - made for eternal life. Dispel their fear and selfishness; give them true womanly hearts to love their babies and give them birth and all the needed care that a mother can give. We ask this through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Our Lord, Who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
