“Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Protect the rights of all who are helpless.”
                          Proverbs 31:8

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act."

Dietrich Bonhoeffer
"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it."

12.25.2016     One of the practices of the cult that worshipped the pagan god Moloch was to sacrifice their children. Of course, this was forbidden by God's word and can be found in several passages. One such,  Lev. 18:21, says, "Neither shall you give any of your offspring to offer them to Moloch, nor shall you profane the name of your God; I am the Lord. In the second century, Tertullian, an early Church Father, wrote about the evil practice of  abortion: "To prevent birth is anticipated murder; it makes little difference whether one destroys a life already born or does away with it in its nascent stage.  The one who will be a man is already one." As  Christians gathered recently  to sing Christmas carols in front of Preterm, the busiest abortion mill in Ohio, a group of hired Moloch supporters loudly cursing, blaspheming and screaming pro death taunts did their best to disrupt and intimidate the carolers. The ancient spiritual battle for life of the innocents continues today.
12.18.2016     The just ended Lame Duck session of the Ohio Legislature produced two pieces of legislation dealing with abortion in Ohio. One piece would ban abortions after 20 weeks gestation, the point when the baby can feel pain. The other piece would ban abortion when a heartbeat is detectable (currently around 6 weeks). The reality of pain capable legislation is that since 99% of all abortions occur before 20 weeks this law allows the death of 99% of the  preborn children of abortion minded women. The Pain Capable laws bans only 1% of  abortions.  By contrast, the other piece of legislation that was also passed by both the Ohio House and Senate was The Unborn Heartbeat Protection Amendment that bans abortion after the point where there is a detectable heartbeat and would ban over 90% of Ohio abortions. Planned Parenthood could continue their grisly business if they lost 1% of their business. If they lost 90+ % they would go out of business. For eight years our local  pro-life organizations have endorsed the Heartbeat Bill because it would save the largest numbers of babies.  Which of these two strategies would you choose?
12.11.2016     "Comfort seems to be a drug: an addiction that is so powerful it can silence and blind a generation who otherwise seems to care about injustice. It is easy to feed the hungry, get water for the thirsty or clothe the naked. There is no resistance to these acts of justice. The enemy is not fighting tooth and nail to oppose and destroy this work as he is with the abolition of abortion. When we realize what abortion actually is, we must choose to be silent and comfortable, or step out of that comfort into a battle that will stretch and test us".  Bryan Kemper                                     (Keynote Speaker at the upcoming St. Helen Knights of Columbus February 2017 Pro-Life Dinner)
12.04.2016     "Contemporary western culture manifests a growing rebellion against God and his Law written upon every human heart and revealed in his Church. The most innocent and defenseless of our brothers and sisters, the unborn, are daily murdered in the womb, and their murder is sanctioned by the laws and decisions of courts of law. More and more, those whose lives are burdened by advanced years, serious illness or special needs are under threat of so-called “mercy killing” or euthanasia by governments in which those in power decide for whom the right to life will be respected or for whom it will not, without regard for the law of God which demands the ultimate respect for every innocent human life, from the moment of its inception to the moment of natural death, without boundary or exception."   Archbishop Raymond Burke
11.27.2016     Today's troubles can make it seem that the world is turned upside down as the values we hold dear as Christians---the sanctity of human life, the beauty of the Biblical family modeled after the Holy Trinity, this nation gifted to us by God seem to be under attack and eroding at an alarming pace.  When we are tempted to worry, we should remember that worrying is what we do when we are not sure that God has it right. Our Lord laid down the rule for us in times such as this: “So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today” (Mt 6:34). Each day has its own trials; we are not to borrow troubles from tomorrow, because that day too will have its cross. We can take comfort in the knowledge that evil may have its hour but God will have His day.
11.20.2016     “America, your deepest identity and truest character as a nation is revealed in the position you take towards the human person. If you want equal justice for all, and true freedom and lasting peace, then, America, defend life!" - St. Pope John Paul II  We should be aware, a culture that takes life at the youngest age may one day take life at any age.
11.13.2016     Euthanasia, assisted suicide, embryonic stem cell  research, human cloning and abortion are each acts of implacable evil. Collectively and individually the rate of these acts continues to increase.  This growth goes on unabated and met  largely with inaction, apathy and silence on the part of Christians who should be taking action to defend all of human life. In order to avoid any conflict or controversy that we might encounter, most will shrink from even having conversations about these evils.  Dr. M. L. King sums up what we are really doing if we if we fail to speak up:  “He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”  and “History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.”
11.06.2016     Planned Parenthood has been in business for 100 years. 60 million innocent babies slaughtered.  "... laypeople and priests don’t need to publicly renounce their baptism to be apostates.  They simply need to be silent when their Catholic faith demands that they speak out; to be cowards when Jesus asks them to have courage; to “stand away” from the truth when they need to work for it and fight for it."   Archbishop Chaput, quoting Benedict XVI.
10.30.2016     Catholic teaching that life is sacred at all stages from conception until natural death is under increasing attack from the modern world. The Church is being attacked because she is  the greatest herald of truth and unity in the world. As such, she is the gatekeeper of morality, and there are many people in the world who hate the Church and what she represents. Some of the haters are in positions of influence and  power and will not tolerate anything working against their goal of establishing a society free of any moral restraints.  Such aggression  demands a response but first we need to realize that our battle is not against mere human forces.; the battle is against principalities and powers, the rulers of darkness, evil spirits. However, in  this great spiritual warfare in which we find ourselves,  individually we are called to resist and stand firm.. "The age of casual Catholicism is over, the age of heroic Catholicism has begun. We can no longer be Catholics by accident but instead we must be Catholics by conviction." - Father Terence Henry, T.O.R
10.23.2016     In this run up to the election, anyone watching a "news" show is likely to hear a candidate who approves of killing children in the womb make a twisted and erroneous  claim  that abortion is OK by the Catholic Church since it is a social justice issue subject to the "prudential judgment" of individuals. In fact, a fake "catholic" organization that calls itself "Catholics for Choice" is spending millions on ad buys across the nation to repeatedly make that very claim. They know that if a lie is repeated often enough it will be perceived  as the truth. But abortion is not a social justice issue. The unchanging and unchangeable teaching of the Catholic Church on abortion is the same as it always has been: The Church respects the sanctity of human life, from conception to natural death. True Catholics know that a thing is not  true simply because the Church teaches it, but that the Church teaches it because it is true.
10.16.2016      "This year Planned Parenthood(PP) marks its 100th year in business---the evil business of hurting women and killing innocent children. We often pray that all women and men involved in abortion will repent of that involvement and return to God's merciful and loving heart.  But, aren't we leaving out the many more who "have been involved in abortion"? Aren't we leaving ourselves out?  PP hasn't continued for a century without our involvement. Our involvement through our apathy and our failure to speak up and speak out about the atrocity of allowing over 60 million children to be executed by PP and the selling of their body parts.  Our involvement by allowing our tax dollars to pay for their heinous activity. Our involvement by accepting weak and unenforceable Pro-Life laws enacted by our legislators. Our involvement by failing to insist that our churches preach that abortion is a sin that  hurts women, kills children and violates God's Fifth Commandment. Certainly continue to pray for healing of abortions other victims---the men and women who made the decision. Even more---pray that we finally have the courage to shout out, "Enough is enough" and end this national shame.
10.09.2016      In today’s increasingly secular and materialistic world, the role of women as bearers of life is deliberately and masterfully being turned upside down. Fertility is considered as if it were a disease to be prevented with dangerous contraceptives that are now considered “essential medicine” And when the same contraceptives fail abortion called “health care” and a “woman’s right” becomes an option even though it takes another's life!  When children see that their mother can kill their siblings through contraception and abortion, what is there to prevent them from killing us when we become old? When we consider children as burdens easily disposed of through abortion, for sure the weak and the elderly can also be easily disposed of and euthanasia sets in. These are fruits of the same poisonous tree.
10.02.2016     A Prayer Request for the upcoming election:  Pray that voters choose candidates on November 8th who reject the following non-negotiables when it comes to voting because these grave issues violate human dignity and undermine God's plan for us. Abortion, Euthanasia, Embryonic Stem Cell Experimentation,  Human Cloning, Redefining Marriage/Homosexual "Marriage".
09.25.2016      Each election provides an opportunity for  all citizens of good will to use their vote to change governmental policies.  This election is no exception and presents voters an opportunity to change laws that are  bathed in the blood of innocent children and to advance the cause of life, especially for the most vulnerable in our society - preborn children in danger of abortion.

Weighing who we will vote for presents for many a moral quandary and hose many may  think that  think that no candidate is worthy of their support. Some are even inclined not to vote at all. To clarify this situation, consider that while we can never choose between two evils, we can choose to do good to limit an evil. When one's choice of candidates who have a viable opportunity to win is limited to two unfavorable candidates, to choose to limit evil by voting for the better of the two is to choose a good. It is a false characterization to describe voting this way as "choosing the lesser of two evils."  To vote for an imperfect candidate is not to endorse that candidate’s position on every issue. Nor is it to compromise our ultimate goal which is the protection of all pre-born children.

09.18.2016     “There are certain positions that a public official takes which disqualify them from public office. Abortion is a disqualifying position. To be in support of the killing of innocent children disqualifies you. It doesn’t matter how good you are on other issues. It really doesn’t matter because you have undermined even your position on those other issues. "       Fr. Frank Pavone, Priests for Life
09.11.2016     "The greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion." Saint  Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
09.04.2016     The terms "Freedom of Religion" (a God-given Right)  and "Freedom of Worship" are  now deceptively used interchangeably. "Freedom of worship"  is what you do within the four walls of the church." Freedom of religion" is what you do outside the four walls of the church as you live the Biblical  tenets of the Faith. The purpose of manipulating the language is to limit the role of faith in the public square and your role to live that faith out in your public and private lives - as when we act to end child murder - as when we take a stand to defend marriage - as when we act to insure privacy in public restrooms - as when Christian priests, preachers and lay people speak publicly to fulfill  Christ's great commission to "take the Truth into the whole world".  We should constantly guard against the intrusions that are  shifting our right from  "Freedom of religion" and towards "Freedom from religion"  Russia and Cuba allow "Freedom of worship". Neither allows "Freedom of religion". It is a distinction with an important difference.
08.28.2016     Spiritual warfare is the Christian concept of taking a stand against preternatural evil forces. It is not hyperbole when we say that today, in 2016, we are engaged in the battles of that war. Consider only a few of the indicators that this is true: When speaking of abortion, a former Speaker of the House and a current officeholder  added an "Eighth Sacrament" when she stated, “As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me….". When, for the cost of tuition, room & board, which is pushing $60K/year , a so-called "ethicist  " at a prestigious ivy league university, Peter Singer, says he'd rather save a pig than a human and that parents should be able to kill their child, after birth, if they so choose..." . When our  national annual death toll from in utero child dismemberment  still stands at 1.2 million. Yes. This battle belongs to the Lord but we are called to be the soldiers. St. Pius V said, "All the evil in the world is due to lukewarm Catholics." If we are truly faithful Christians we should ask ourselves, Do I just go along? or Do I resist? The way we answer and act  has  dire consequences for our families, our country, our Church and our world.  It also has eternal consequences for each of us individually.
08.21.2016     “We must understand and listen to the great suffering of women who have experienced an abortion and stand beside them as witnesses of divine mercy, of the unfathomable love of Jesus, who opens the riches of His Heart to those who, despite their sin, dare to turn to Him with trust." Cardinal Raymond Burke.  "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" is a Biblical Truth. Though perhaps different in our kind of sin, each of us can change, no matter how deep the darkness, no matter how horrible the sin. That's the entire point of the Church.
08.14.2016      People cannot receive Holy Communion and at the same time act with deeds or words against the commandments, particularly when abortion, euthanasia, and other grave crimes against life and family are encouraged. This responsibility weighs particularly over legislators, heads of governments, and health professionals." — Pope Francis.
.08.7.2016      When questioned on where they stand on abortion we often hear politicians state with a straight face, “My position is that I am personally opposed to abortion, but I don't think I have a right to impose my view on the rest of society".  Would we accept anyone as a worthy candidate if they said, "I personally oppose murder but would never impose my objection on others."? How about, "While I am personally opposed to child abuse, I believe whether children should be abused should be the parent's choice."? Or, "I personally object to enslaving other human beings, but I don't see it as my place to impose my views on those engaged in white slave trafficking." If  we would not vote for a person in the second, third and fourth case why would we accept as a legitimate candidate any politician who would espouse the "personally opposed" position on abortion.
07.31.2016      There exists a "euthanasia deception" that is being  visited upon the world. This deception is that lethal injection is compassionate care.  It is not.  It is murder. It is a threat to vulnerable people of all ages and medical conditions. To understand the threat, we need only to look at the experiences in Belgium where euthanasia has been codified in law for 15 years. There, lethal injections are routinely administered at the first diagnosis of Alzheimer's  or a malignant disease and even  to those diagnosed with depression. In 2015  the latest year's statistics available, 2021  so-called "mercy killings" took place---an increase over the 1,924 reported in 2014.  More than half of the 2015 killings were to patients aged 70 and over but an increasing number of young patients received lethal doses as well. Euthanasia is legal in Washington, Oregon, California and Vermont. The "Compassion and Choices" pro euthanasia group has a war chest of $20 million and are using it to promote their agenda daily.
07.24.2016     If we were talking about a car, a computer or some other THING, we could say that when enough things go wrong with it, it becomes more trouble than it's worth. Repairs would be too costly, too involved. Throw it out and get a new one. But we cannot apply this mindset to HUMAN PERSONS. Central to the utterly false philosophy of so-called "death with dignity" advocates is the notion that some lives are not worth living.  These lives, they maintain, are more trouble than they are worth. They have too much suffering, and are too much of a burden on the resources of society. No matter what the condition a person suffers from, that person always has a right to life which nobody of any philosophical, political or religious persuasion ever is able to take away. In fact, it is precisely when life is afflicted by weakness and illness that it is all the MORE deserving of our care.
07.17.2016     Euthanasia is the deliberate killing of someone by action or omission, with or without that person’s consent, for what are claimed to be compassionate reasons. Euthanasia is not a future problem in America. It is a present problem. It is happening now and becoming increasingly accepted. And we are asleep, not realizing that the road we are on will lead to the massive elimination of the elderly and "incompetent," and anyone else considered to be a burden to society. There are groups in our country pushing for the "right" to use lethal injections on the seriously ill, or to remove their food and water. We must oppose such pagan moral nonsense with all our strength. And the time to oppose it is now, before it becomes codified  in law.
07.10.2016     Those who push euthanasia (the killing of the seriously ill by act or omission) are all around.  Our country is on a collision course with euthanasia Increasingly, in the courts and the media and in conversation, we are hearing about euthanasia and the so-called "right to die."  We do not have a "right to die." A "right" is a moral claim. We do not have a claim on death. Rather, death has a claim on us. What we do have a right to is proper care. It is never "care" in any sense of the word, to terminate life, even if that life is full of suffering. We have no right to terminate life. We do not decide when our life will end, any more than we decided when it began. Much less does someone else -- a relative, a doctor, or a legislator--decide when our life will end. None of us is master over life and death.
07.3.2016      Preterm Abortion mill located on Shaker Blvd. in Cleveland executes over 5000 pre-born babies each year. Though denied by those who profit from the cash business of baby killing, over 130 prestigious  peer reviewed studies link abortion to increased risk of infant mortality in subsequent pregnancies due to  premature birth and low birth weight. In denial of the "Inconvenient Truth" that Preterm's grisly business is likely the cause, a so-called "Community Covenant" was recently entered into by Cleveland's abortion cartel--- Preterm, the City of Cleveland, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, University Hospitals Health System, The Metro Health System, Sisters of Charity Health System, The Cleveland Foundation, The George Gund Foundation, The Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation, St. Luke’s Foundation among others to determine the cause of the alarming number of infant deaths. " There are none so blind as those who will not see."
06.26.2016     A 2016 report from the U.S. Geological Survey found that birth-control hormones excreted by women, flushed into waterways and eventually into drinking water also impact fish fertility up to three generations after exposure — raising questions about their effects on humans, who are consuming the drugs without even knowing it in each glass of water they drink. The study adds to a growing body of evidence that man-made endocrine-disrupting chemicals — those that affect hormone systems and numerous body functions, including conception — are damaging wildlife, wreaking havoc on reproductive, immunological and nervous systems. The advocates of population control are so wedded to contraceptive sex they ignore the science that shows, they sterilize other species in the process.
06.19.2016     Too often, Christians earnestly attempting to follow Jesus' teaching debate whether  "social Justice" or the "right to life" issues  should take precedence. In reality these are not "either/or" positions. They are not mutually exclusive.  Abortion and euthanasia are the fundamental social issues, because if the child in the womb has no right to be born, if the sick and the old have no right to be taken care of, then there is no solid foundation to defend anyone's human rights, and no foundation for peace, justice or any social issues in society.
06.12.2016      Love declares that there is no such thing as an unwanted child....With love, children are adopted, not aborted. With love, children are cherished, not abused. We simply need to see no child as unwanted.... And it can start with just one. One life loved can make all the difference.

God created man in his image,
in the divine image he created him;
male and female he created them.

Genesis 1:27
06.05.2016     "Gender fluidity" is a term referring to a gender that supposedly varies over time. Facebook, says there are 58 genders. New York City last week recognized 31 "official" genders. The American Psychological Association uses the term "gender dysphoria" to describe a condition where individuals identify with a gender contrary to their birth gender. An edict from the Federal Government now warns the States, upon penalty of losing funding,  to "accept transgenderism or else". God's Word, the  Bible, says there are only two genders. "Male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27). All the speculation about numerous genders or gender fluidity — or even a gender “continuum” with unlimited genders — is foreign to the Bible.
05.29.2016     Legislation currently in the works as Ohio S. B. 165 is referred to as "MOLST", an acronym, for Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment.,  is a Trojan horse Bill that would be more properly named Medical Orders for Life STOPPING Treatment. Just knowing that the formerly named Hemlock Society, a "right-to-die" group now deceptively named "End of Life Choices" is  ramrodding the legislation, should leave no doubt that it is a bill that Christians must oppose. The Ohio Senate passed the bill this week by a vote of 30-3. The bill, now in House committee, awaits a vote. It will encourage medically vulnerable patients or their surrogates who are not required to have medical training to make critical care decisions Enshrining MOLST in law is a first step toward opening the door to where a "right to die" becomes a "duty to die."
05.22.2016     In the turmoil of this time in history, we might be tempted to look away from the things happening around us and withdraw rather than stepping up to deal with our troubling circumstances. If we turn away we will miss "the moment".  This is our Good Samaritan moment. None of us chose to live in this era of abortion, contraception, non-Biblical "marriage", Church crisis, etc., but God chose us all to be alive at this time. He invites us all to fight for Him and His Church. Mother Theresa of Calcutta went to India to help the poor. We need not go to India to be of service to Him. Instead, fight for the Church, the sanctity of all human life, the Trinity based family and your faith from wherever you live and work.
And then, thank God for the opportunity to be alive in this day and age to battle the evil that would destroy all of that is truly of lasting  value.
05.15.2016     Apathy describes the lack of a response  to some things that should seemingly elicit action or inspire passion. Those "some things" to Christians should include attacks on the sanctity of human life, the family, the institution of Biblical marriage and our inalienable right to freedom of religion. To adapt a quote, apathy has become the opiate of the people. However, apathy is only a temporary anesthetic to cover the problems. On the Day of Judgment, apathy will have no place. There will only be the eternally apathetic and those who know God.  Christ spoke strongly against His followers being "lukewarm" in Revelation 3:14-21 ‘So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth". Civil rights hero Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. echoed the words of Jesus  “The time has come for America to hear the truth, that the hottest places in Hell are reserved for those who in a period of moral crisis maintain their neutrality.  There comes a time when silence is betrayal.”
05.08.2016     Planned Parenthood (PP) distorts the true nature of their business. Each year they end the lives of 327,000+ pre-born Americans They claim that abortion makes up only 3 percent of what they do. They intentionally mislead by comparing abortion services to every other service that they provide. They individually count each service — pregnancy test, STD test, abortion, birth control distribution equally. If Major League Baseball (MLB) wished to disguise their operation, they could say that they sell 20 million hot dogs annually and play 2,430 games so baseball is only .00012 percent of their business. We know that MLB exists to play baseball games. And, we know that Planned Parenthood exists to snuff out innocent human life.
05.01.2016     Just as there are those who deny that Hitler's holocaust took place, there are those who deny that abortion is racist in nature and that there exists a Black Genocide perpetrated by Planned Parenthood, their supporters and those who choose to be willfully ignorant of the facts.  “Abortion and racism are evil twins, born of the same lie.  Where racism now hides its face in public, abortion is accomplishing the goals of which racism only once dreamed. Together, abortionists are destroying humanity at large and the black community in particular." (Joint statement of Fr. Frank Pavone, Priests for Life/ Dr. Alveda King, niece of MLK ,  January 2016)
Planned Parenthood
04.24.2016     Abortion has NOTHING to do with reproductive rights. Reproduction has already occurred if there is someone to abort. Instead it has EVERYTHING to do with human rights, as it is a human who is being aborted. Reproductive rights and choice end once you have reproduced and the human rights of the human who has been created then begin. Abortion is not a human right, it steals the rights of humans. Abortion is a politically protected means of death.
04.17.2016     The constant  attack  from the culture today when Christians assert their foundational beliefs about the sanctity of  life and the family is to dismiss us as intolerant and  judgmental. Taking an innocent life always matters even when the world tries to make it sound compassionate and noble with words like "reproductive choice". Failure to model marriage after that of the Holy Family  is a grievous sin.  We have an enemy who prowls about like a roaring lion looking for innocents to devour. His “choice” is always death. The other side of accepting what the world defines as tolerance is pure evil and death. We must never cower at the charge of being judgmental.  It is a Christian's job to judge evil and to keep it from the innocent. How else can we keep sin and its resultant brokenness away from them? We must tell them the Truth. Christian charity requires that we do so.
04.10.2016     In today’s increasingly secular and materialistic world, the role of women as bearers of life is deliberately and masterfully being turned upside down. Fertility is considered as if it were a disease to be prevented with dangerous contraceptives that are now considered “essential medicine” And when the same contraceptives fail abortion called “health care” and a “woman’s right” becomes an option even though it takes another life!
04.03.2016     It seems almost daily that we hear the charge of "racism" leveled at a particular action of some particular individual or group.  Such is the frequency of its use, that the real ugliness of racism is distorted and it begins to lose its true meaning.  Here is the word used in a context rarely heard---abortion is racist. The abortion mills, predominately located in black neighborhoods, prey on black women.  Black women are five times more likely than white women to have abortions. Breast cancer increases up to six-fold post abortion.  African American women are more likely than all other women to die from breast cancer.  Since Roe v. Wade, the black community has been reduced by 36 million people.  Those who promote abortion or vote for pro-abortion politicians can rightly be described as proponents of racism.
03.27.2016     The words, "This is my Body", used by Jesus to give us new life are in stark contrast to the times when the same words are used by individuals claiming to defend women. They use  those sacred words seeking to justify their "right" to take away new life through abortion.  We should not be surprised that this happens. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 tells us who is the source of that deception. "And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness." This verse finishes with a warning of God's Justice for those who twist Jesus' own words, "Their end will correspond to their deeds."

03.20.2016     Supporters of the Culture of Death deceive  themselves into thinking their position favoring abortion and euthanasia are the compassionate choices. For what appears like compassion is in reality terribly counterfeit. Fake compassion is a mere sentiment, looking for an easy-fix, and shirking from the personal investment that real love demands. It is much easier to drive a girl or woman to an abortion mill than to help her raise the child or go through an adoption-process. It is easier to counsel a woman to get an abortion, than help get her out of an abusive situation, to deal with her alcoholism, or to assist her with getting a job. It is easier to kill the child, than address a difficult family-situation. And it is easier to give a lethal injection than to accompany somebody on their last journey, and help them to find meaning in it. The face of real compassion is love. The true face of false compassion is despair and murder.
03.13.2016     In the heat of this election season the talking point of Planned Parenthood that "PP alone provides needed health services to poor minority women and  to millions of other women outside of abortion procedures" is heard in the presidential debates.  To be blunt, this is a lie from the pit of Hell. PP locations provide 378,692 Pap tests. Community Health Centers (CHC)  provide 1,787,256 such tests; PP provides zero mammograms while CHC provide 424,676; in the fewer than 700 PP locations 327,653 preborn children are dismembered while in the 9,000 CHC no abortions are performed.  For every 33 pregnant women that walk into a Planned Parenthood clinic, 32 leave as the mother of a dead child. The straw man statement that PP "does a lot of good" begs the question, "If the KKK provides free pap smears to minority women, does that make it a benevolent organization?"
03.06.2016     Abortion or child sacrifice was freely practiced in the times of the Old Testament. Today both of Cleveland’s two major healthcare organizations partner  with the Preterm abortion mill to train the next generation of abortionists ensuring the continuation of God’s children being sacrificed on the altar of convenience.  In Leviticus 20:4-5, speaking to the consequences of the sacrifice of children to the god Moloch, the Word says, ”If the members of the community close their eyes when that man sacrifices one of his children to Moloch and if they fail to put him to death, I myself will set my face against him and his family and will cut them off from their people together with all who follow him in prostituting themselves to Moloch.”
02.28.2016     Abortion in America is an enormously profitable business. If one were to visit their websites, read their advertisements, or listen to the propaganda in our secular media and believe what you hear, you would come away thinking they exist not to make a profit but to provide for women’s health. Compare services in a pregnancy center where unpaid volunteers working out of the goodness of their hearts provide free pregnancy testing, ultrasound, adoption counseling, help filling out insurance papers, a place to live and any other needs of the mother and baby.  Call or visit a local abortion mill (they prefer “Woman’s Health Center”) and ask them to provide a free abortion.  See how that works out.

02.21.2016   Planned Parenthood steadfastly attempts to cover up that their “health service” is responsible annually for the secret, violent deaths of over 330,000 nameless American citizens or one abortion every 94 seconds. Child-murder is big business and this death machine sets records year after year. This murder-for-hire business has an annual budget of over  $1.2 billion. Planned Parenthood and political candidates who support them attempt to deflect the evil they do by citing that they also do other exams such as screening for STD’s and cancer. The truth is that 91% of pregnant women that PP sees have an abortion. That is like trying to defend Hitler by ignoring the millions of deaths and saying, “Yes, the deaths are true, but he made the trains run on time.”

02.14.2016     Two to three weeks after fertilization, a human being has a heartbeat and developing organs. Though in the womb, it has its own unique DNA, blood type, and a developing body. It may not be able to speak or defend its life, but it is already a person. Adding to religious teachings  on this subject, Princeton University McCormick professor of jurisprudence Robert George holds what is known among moral philosophers as "equal moral status" and states "...all human beings are equal, and ought not to be harmed or considered to be less than human on the basis of age or size or stage of development or condition of dependency." We might add, neither do the circumstances of its conception such as rape or incest alter its human personhood and being deserving  of protection.
02.07.2016     Pro-lifers are often asked why we do what we do, if we aren’t afraid to stand at abortion mills and if we think what we do really makes any difference. The following quote by Peter Kreeft offers answers. "Saints always go into the ghettos, especially moral ghettos. They make waves. Moses made waves. Jesus made waves. The waves make the garbage come to the surface, and the waves of garbage often drown the saints and make them martyrs, white corpuscles that give themselves up to fight an infection. Saints are society's white corpuscles, society's saviors. If nobody wants to crucify you you're not doing your job. Or else your job isn't HIS work."
01.31.2016   Theology of the Body is Saint John Paul II's teaching on love, life and human sexuality. He teaches that the body has its own language. Handshakes are signs of civility. More intimate than the handshake is the kiss, a sign of trust and friendship. The marital embrace is designed by God to be a sharing of the self with the spouse... Contraception, like a Judas kiss, betrays the language of the body because it really says, ”I don’t want to share this part of myself with you. Keep your fertility to yourself. I don’t want any part of that.” Contraception contradicts the language of marital love that God intended to be spoken between married couples---the language of total sharing.
01.24.2016     An ongoing discussion within the pro-life community is whether legislation labeled as "Pro-Life" is deserving of support when a  law being considered excludes from its protection children conceived in rape or incest. Those promoting these laws ask, "Isn't it better to save the ones we can and not to insist that 'rape and incest' babies be included?"  They say that we should be "pragmatic" if  we hope to pass Pro-Life legislation. The problem with the plea for "pragmatism" or "compromise"  in writing such a law is that it denies the reality that children, regardless of the circumstances of their conception, are created in God's own image and likeness. To turn our backs on children conceived in these horrific circumstances in the name of "compromise" is contrary to the teaching of Jesus himself who showed us how each life is to be valued in the parable of the lost sheep.  He left behind the 99 to save the one. Should we operate any differently?
01.17.2016     In our modern society places high value on avoiding conflict. That avoidance presents a great difficulty for pro-lifers. In championing our position, we simply say that between life and death, there is no third thing. You are either alive or you are not. Abortion kills or it does not. It is morally permissible or it is not. There are simply some things that do not admit of a "neutral" third position. Between these two opposed possibilities, there can only be "confrontation," distasteful as that may be to some sensibilities.

01.10.2016     Pro-Life 101 "Wanted Babies" - Myth: if the child is unwanted, the child should not be given life. Truth: In the USA there are an average of 36 couples waiting for every child that is adopted. ...approximately 2 MM couples in the USA waiting to adopt. If EVERY baby that was to be aborted was born and adopted out to waiting couples, there would still be 800,000 couples waiting to adopt. Babies may not be wanted by their mothers, but they are wanted by others . . . we are Pro-Life because every baby is a wanted baby.
01.03.2016     Does all life matter? The answer would seem obvious.  However, because of never-ending "politically correctness", Christians who would claim that it does are bullied in the press, on electronic media and social media as being insensitive at best and being bigots and haters at worst.  The claim against  Christians who say "all life matters" is that when they do so they intend to exclude, minimize and victimize  some segments of the American demographic. This is  blatantly false anti-Christian rhetoric. Christians turning to God's Word find Christ himself explaining why he came down from heaven to be among us. He said, "I came that they might have life and have it abundantly". If life, all life, didn't matter, would He have come?
